The ARITA PORCELAIN LAB is located in the redecorated building of Arita Bussan Co., Ltd. - the present day Arita Seiyo Co., Ltd. - built in the early Showa era. This shop was created as an antenna shop, with the objective of selling and distributing Arita Ceramics, in April 2006.

This building is an historical landmark, and has been registered as a cultural property in Arita.

The shop’s interior has been completely transformed from its previous appearance, with the inside walls composed of rusty steel and lime plaster, and steel furniture. The simplicity of interior design produces a wonderful harmony alongside the simplistically designed Japanese dishes on display.

We design our Arita ceramics to fit the modern-day life style, and thus, have come to be so highly regarded that they are often used at official functions and by restaurants.
